Wheel thrown textured cup with Sapphire Float glaze. This adult did pottery in college many years ago and was finally taking some time for themselves to dive back into their creative life.

There are two approaches the teacher uses for instructing wheel classes. Students have the option of allowing the teacher to help them with their work or they have the option of working completely autonomously. Either way, the teacher prides themselves on students feeling connected to their own work.

A friend's grandchild created this little masterpiece with P5 porcelain clay from the seesthrutrees studio and fired in the seesthrutrees kiln. Glazed with Palladium which renders a glossy metallic effect with green breaks.
